Depression can feel like a dark cloud, coloring everything in your life grey. Sometimes medication, often combined with therapy, can help you enjoy your life and make the lows seem more manageable.
Anxiety is often described as a sense of dread or fear that something bad is going to happen. It can keep you from relaxing and enjoying your life. The good news - we typically know how to treat it!
Poor focus and disorganization can lead to feelings of frustration and a negative self image. With treatment, many clients report feeling like the best version of themselves - feeling capable and more confident in their abilities.
My approach to treatment involves combining evidence-based psychopharmacology with a systemic and psychodynamic therapeutic approach. My goal is to help clients gain a better understanding of themselves and their lives through a therapeutic lens, with components of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to enhance their therapeutic experience. My areas of clinical interest include depression, anxiety disorders, borderline personality disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
